Hui planned for health awareness

Four free health hui are planned over the upcoming months to help carers, sufferers and family members in the community cope with health issues. 


Arowhenua Whanau services, at Temuka, will hold the hui from 6pm to 9pm at Arowhenua Marae. They are open to anyone in South Canterbury who would like to learn more about Alzheimer's, women's health and menopause. Areas covered will include diagnosis, latest research, support available in the district, planning for the future and relevant legal matters. Those interested in attending a hui should register with Arowhenua Whanau Services.  

  •     March 26: Alzheimer's (part one) 
  •     April 11: Wahine/women's health 
  •     April 16: Alzheimer's (part two) 
  •     May 14: Wahine/women and menopause
